Due to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and technological advancements, the current SCBAs will no longer meet the updated NFPA 1981 Standard on Open‐Circuit Self‐Contained Breathing Apparatus for Emergency Services within the next five to seven years. The SCBA equipment for this project includes airpacks, air bottles, a Bluetooth option, and a remote monitoring system
