View on Interactive Map →This project adds a traffic signal with signalized crosswalks at the intersection of Richardson Road at Core Banks Street to accommodate increased traffic from nearby development and address pedestrian safety inquiries. This project revises existing markings and pedestrian landings along with a metal strain pole traffic signal that would be maintained by the Town. Without a traffic signal, the intersection will experience longer delays as traffic continues to increase and pedestrians will not have protected crossings across Richardson Road to access mixed use development on both sides of the road.
