View on Interactive Map →This project renovates the Beaver Creek Greenway from Townside Drive to Kelly Road Park. This segment is heavily traveled by residents and experiences regular flooding from the Lawrence Prong and Beaver Creek waterways. Planning and engineering efforts would evaluate relocating the damaged infrastructure, realigning the trail, or conducting stream restoration, whichever is deemed acceptable to the Army Corp and FEMA as much of the trail is located within the floodplain and more restricted floodway. Renovations would reduce the need to close Beaver Creek during times of flooding.
